Getting started

The full setup walkthrough is at wizesnaps.com/google-sheets-decision-profiles. You'll need a Wize Snaps API key from snap.wizer.business/dashboard/developers. New accounts start with 100 free credits.

I can't see the Wize Snaps menu
It's under Extensions > Wize Snaps. If it isn't there, reload the sheet. On a work Google account, your administrator may need to allow the add-on.

"No API key set"
Go to Extensions > Wize Snaps > Setup > Set API key. The key is saved against your Google account, so if you switch accounts you'll need to set it again.

"API key is invalid or inactive"
Copy the key again from your dashboard, set it again, then run Setup > Check connection.

​

"Rejected. Usually a missing field or no credits left"
Check your credit balance in the dashboard. Each profile uses 1 credit and each rewrite uses 2.

​

"Rate limited"
Wait a minute and run it again. Rows that already have results are skipped, so nothing is charged twice.

It stopped part way through a long list

Google limits how long a single run can take, so on a long list Wize Snaps stops early and tells you. Run it again and it carries on from where it stopped.

A row says "Needs context"
That row has a name but nothing in either context column. Add something the person has written, or your own notes about them.

The confidence is Low
The read is only as good as the text you give it. Paste more of the person's own words, like a full About section or a recent post, then clear the Profile cell and run it again.

I pasted a LinkedIn link and the result looks wrong
Wize Snaps reads the text you give it and doesn't open links. Paste the words from their profile instead.

I want to redo a row
Clear its Profile cell to redo the profile, or its Rewrite cell to redo the rewrite, then run it again. Only the rows you cleared are charged.

​

It says there was nothing to do
You probably had a block of empty rows selected. Click a single cell and run it again to cover the whole sheet.

Removing Wize Snaps
First remove your key with Extensions > Wize Snaps > Setup > Forget my API key. Then go to Extensions > Add-ons > Manage add-ons, find Wize Snaps and choose Uninstall.
